You people have stood in my way long enough. I’m going to clown college!
Yay Friday!
I woke up early this morning and went on my 8 mile run. It actually wasn’t too bad. Took a little longer than I wanted it to and I had to walk a little more than planned…but whatever. I did it. It’s done! Yay!!
I was pretty gross when I finished. It was so humid it almost felt like I was swimming in the air. I was drenched at the end of the run…and my legs were covered in dirt from the trail. I also had a few gnats sticking to me which was a first…I can’t say I’ve had that problem before. I also saw a lot of dead animals on the run today. It was weird. Apparently the animals in the woods had some weird fight/massacre/something last night. I saw a bunch of dead frogs (and random frog parts) littering the trail. There were a couple of turtles and birds also. I even saw a dead cat on the side of the trail. Must have been some party last night. I’m just glad I didn’t see any dead humans or anything :-P.
Then I headed to work to shower. When I got there I remembered it was the day with no technology. Basically they’re migrating all our email/online accounts to our new company so they took our computers away from us. We’re not allowed to use them (at all) until Monday. So…I called a few vendors, went to the factory to get some install information…and went home.
This almost makes up for the work I have to do tomorrow.
I also found out one of my guy friends just got fired for “misconduct at a work function” (Stupidest thing to do ever!). I’m so upset about this. Now he’s moving back to North Carolina. He’s my favorite happy hour boy (um he’s also one of my favorite normal hour people as well…I swear). Now we’re just trying to figure out where to go out tonight for goodbye.
So sad.
