If you really want something in life you have to work for it. Now quiet, they’re about to announce the lottery numbers.

Today is happy day dammit.  So be happy. 

My leg no longer looks like it’s about to rot and fall off (always a good thing).  The bite looks MUCH better and more importantly, FEELS much better.  Awesome.  I think it’s due to the running yesterday.

Everyone told me to wait one more day before running.  My leg was still killing me and the meds were still making me feel like shit.  But ha!  I ignored all common sense and went running anyways.  And wow did that run SUCK!  Every step made this weird ache go through my leg.  It was very distracting.  I ran 4 miles and could not get into my stride due to the distracting pain shooting through my leg.  The first 3 and 3/4 miles were torture.  Then…I finally found my stride and that last 1/4 mile was easy-peezy. 

So…you’re probably wondering how this HELPED my leg.  Well…after I ran and did my push-ups (I’m repeating Week 3…FOR THE THIRD TIME), I showered and elevated my leg while sleeping.  I woke up this morning and my leg feels so much better.  I’m convinced running caused all those nasty toxins to leave my body (in the form of copious amounts of sweat).  Either that, or as SB suggested…running caused all the nasty toxins to circulate through my bloodstream directly into my brain.  Either way…I’m not feeling it so I’m happy.  :-) 

Then, I came to work and received two new projects.  (Well…one real project and one potential project).  Yay new work to do!  And it’s the kind of work I LIKE doing…not installation work!  Score!

I’m sure there are other reasons to be happy today as well.  So make it a happy day today!
