Because sometimes the only way to feel good about yourself is by making someone else feel bad. I am tired of making others feel good about themselves.
I also have discovered my balance is ATTROCIOUS!
I used an upside down bosu ball (evil bosu ball) for squats and these weird push-up/leg lift things. Seriously, I felt like I was attempting to do the exercises during an earthquake or something. My balance is seriously just not where it should be. My friend V was laughing at how bad my legs were shaking on the squats (ok…his were almost as shaky as mine…so he had no room to laugh but whatever).
I also did about 50 THOUSAND lunges across the floor of the gym multiple times. Then I had to do a bunch of leg presses and other machine exercises. Then I did about 25 minutes of cardio.
I’m so not kidding about my legs being crazy shaky.
Anyways, tomorrow is a running day…so hopefully my legs will recover by then. Should be interesting if not.
On a random side note I’m making a pair of pedicure socks as a retirement gift for a friend at work. I can’t decide if I love the socks…or if I think they’re the dumbest looking things EVER. I’ll try to post a picture tomorrow when they’re finished blocking and you will have to give me your opinion.

Oh….bosu ball; I need one of those! I have poor balance as well, there are so many exercises on the exercise ball that I can’t even attempt…very sad - but I guess that’s why your supposed to workout regularly using them…to build up the stability…doh!
I brought my gear to run today at lunch, should be interesting maneouvering out on the sidewalks after our dump of 42 cm of snow Monday! Oh, Summer please come soon!
