It didn’t occur to me. My brain does not work in a crisis
I am having a FANTASTIC taper week. To bad taper week isn’t supposed to start until NEXT week. Sigh.
I did at least force myself to go running today. However, I also had to take little O to the vet to get his butt poked at again so I only had about half an hour to run.
And it was cold and raining super hard. I admit I love to run in the rain, but since I’m still feeling sick, and I wasn’t going to have time to change before going to the vet, I forced myself to run on the treadmill.
It was as awful as I remembered.
I ran for 30 minutes, so I only managed to run 3 miles (but hey…I’m apparently MUCH faster on a treadmill than I am outside). However, it did feel good to be running again, and even though I was having major issues breathing, it was just nice to have my legs moving again.
Tomorrow will hopefully be a 7 mile run, and I just need to figure out how to work in another 7 miles on Saturday (I have a 3 mile MS walk in the morning, and then a concert that afternoon). THEN…I can begin my REAL taper week.
Oh, and on some exciting happy news…I have a new cousin girl! Congrats C and J!
