Don’t do what Donny Don’t does
Super exhausted from the last 3 days.
I got kicked out of my place for the weekend so the roomie could have a boy visit. However, I threw a wrench in the works when I managed to get “sick” on Friday. And by “sick”, I mean terrible, horrible, horrendous cramps all night. I spent my night locked in my room curled up with a heating pad. I do know how to have a good time.
However, I was feeling better Saturday, so KW and I went to the Beer and Bourbon festival at the racetrack, however, we were highly disappointed. There weren’t as many ridiculously drunk people as we had hoped. Sadly, we had to make fun of the slightly sober people instead. Even more disappointing, we each had a ridiculous amount of samples…and yet didn’t feel the slightest bit tipsy.
The beer by the way was fantastic. I tried almost all the beers and KW tried almost all the bourbons and we both agreed they all rocked. Except the apricot wheat beer. I was highly disappointed. Way too sweet.
The barbecue and funnel cake was also delicious. All in all, a yummy way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
I went back to KW’s place afterwards and we hung out a bit before meeting up with some friends downtown. It was a good night, and there was nobody vomiting in my car or crying people to deal with, so I had a blast.
Didn’t get to bed until insanely late Saturday night/Sunday morning, so woke up late that day, and felt like shit pretty much all day. Really didn’t do ANYTHING all day. It was kind of nice haha.
Today kind of sucked though.
I think the day can be summed up by saying I had a giant cockroach on my leg today at work. It was disgusting and the day didn’t get any better. I still have the shudders from that.
However, the gym totally rocked today. I definitely kicked my own butt and it was great. This week’s schedule looks decent:
Monday: gym
Tuesday: 4 miles
Wednesday: gym
Thursday: speed work out (4-6 miles)
Friday: gym
Saturday: off
Sunday: 6 miles
However, I’m now starving and I have no food in the house. Sigh.
